No Seatbelts!

In Thailand you only wear a seatbelt if you are in the front seat. Abraham enjoyed wandering around in the car, accidentally opening the door, fortunately when we were stopped.

There was so much more that I didn't photograph: Dan, the food (delicious), the rest of their house, the markets, the traffic, the people (very friendly and kind), the flowers, their ward and the river. You will just have to visit yourself to get the real picture!

Out and About in Bangkok

Mary and Amy at Wat Pho, the Temple of the Reclining Buddha.
The best drink ever--watermelon smoothie--so delicious!
Abraham is happy to have a break from the heat.
Some things are still the same: goldfish and apple juice.
Towers made from tile at a temple site.

Obsession Over Elephants

Elephants are EVERYWHERE in Thailand. Bath towels folded into elephants...
The zoo had a place where you could buy fruit and vegetable to feed the elephants.

Amy was the bravest!

Mary got more courageous when she realized how fun it was.

A Morning at the Zoo

That's a huge swimming lizard that looks like a crocodile!
A pygmy hippopotomus
We arrived just as the tigers came out of their cage--the caretaker squirted them with a hose to make them go out.
A white tiger.

We were wondering where the lions were when this one popped up right in front of Mary and Amy!

While in Thailand

My favorite part of Thailand was visiting Amy, Mary and Abraham. (And Dan.) Abraham and Mary were happy to have visitors.

Their apartment is nice (not so spacious as it appears in these photos, though)--EVERYONE wants to touch them!
